The star has given the entirety of his twenty-five thousand pound honor winnings to the Music Venues Trust, which functions to protect the United Kingdom's small music venues.
Fender was awarded the prize on 16 October as his new release his work was named the outstanding release of the past year.
The musician has chosen to give the cash to the trust, in recognition of the crucial part small stages played in his early career.
"I couldn't be pursuing this success if it hadn't been for all the gigs I performed around the region, and beyond, when I was starting out," said Fender. "These venues are legendary, but they are facing challenges."
Beginning in 2023, more than 150 of these locations have ceased operations – approximately one-sixth of the entire UK sector.
In the last year, top acts such as Pulp, Coldplay, Katy Perry and Sheeran have all supported the trust in its initiatives to help venues survive, by including a minor surcharge to their ticket costs, which goes to help local stages.
Fender also took part, generating in excess of £100,000 on his live tour to assist thirty-eight local spots across England, Scotland, and Wales.
The donation helped locations that were facing possible closure due to difficulties stemming from flooding, blazes and personal losses, as well as regulatory hurdles, legal disputes and sound issues.
Other venues obtained funding support in upgrading facilities and sound and lighting systems that positively impacted musicians and fans.
"The notion that revenue from concerts in large arenas supports the independent spots, where it kicks off for musicians like me, is just common sense," Sam Fender has said.
He is among several artists to contribute his honor winnings to charitable organizations.
In the band earned the trophy in the year 1996 for their record the album, frontman Jarvis Cocker declared that the band would donate their winnings to the organization War Child.

In recent years, they donated their winnings to the youth organization that nurtured their band, alongside other grassroots music organisations.
Additionally winners that year M People contributed their award to a charity for MS after a acquaintance was identified with the condition.
"Receiving the award was sufficient," remarked vocalist Heather Small. "The prize was the bonus but we could do without the bonus, because we had the cake. So our victory touched the lives of others."
In the past week, the trust shared it had protected several grassroots venues in that region, by bringing them into local control.
The Joiners in Southampton and the other in Bristol were bought under the public acquisition program, which is funded by a national body and music fans who buy "shares" in the properties.
